What will you be learning?You will develop an understanding of how the Health Service works and how people communicate effectively. You will develop an understanding of the important issues, legislation and procedures that affect the Health Service. You will look at how we promote good health. Only one third of the course is examined, so you will have plenty of opportunity to research and develop your own ideas.Who can do it?

With further training, you could go into a job related to Health & Social Care such as an Medical Practitioner, Social Worker or Child Care Worker. You could also go straight into employment as the course is delivered through a work-based training programme, will help you develop the skills, knowledge and understanding that employers in the care sectors are looking for.
