Never standing still

Building on our success, we are constantly creating new opportunities for our students to progress and develop their learning. As technology advances we are able to create new exciting opportunities. As the first Cornish School to achieve 'Microsoft Academy Status' we have been able to offer the use of cutting edge Microsoft Technology to our students, staff and other stakeholders.

We have a national reputation for advances in the use of data management and tracking student progress which we share with other schools and organisations. We continue to maximise opportunities for all young people by personalising their learning programmes.

Engaging with enterprise

The school was awarded 'Specialist Status in Business and Enterprise' in September 2007. This specialism has allowed us to further develop an enterprise capability in our young people and across our learning environment.

This culture promotes the aspirations of young people, their inventiveness and resourcefulness. The promotion of an ethical entrepreneurial spirit allows young people to dare to dream with a can-do attitude, but also to be mindful of the potential consequences to others.

Our young people have an appreciation of local and global economies and how to play a leading role in a prosperous and caring society.
Our status has allowed us to offer our specialist resources not only to our students and staff but also to the wider community.
