Falmouth School's fantastic Youth Referees

Rio, Alistair and Theo have been identified as promoting a positive and encouraging attitude toward youth sport within the community.

As you may already be aware, these boys have recently completed a Youth Referee Course and are now fully recognised as Youth Referees.

Every weekend they have been supporting their local community football teams, spending time not only playing football themselves but to also volunteer to referee a range of matches across a variety of age groups.  Through doing this, they have received many positive and supportive comments highlighting how mature, supportive and welcoming they have been towards visiting teams and how they are amazing role models for Youth Referees.

Following on from a recent match, a parent from a visiting team has asked if she could interview the boys for her Radio Cornwall Podcast - 'Balls and All'. She was touched by the behaviour and the attitude of the Youth Referee she saw during the match and she wants to now promote them as part of her Podcast about Youth Sport.

Falmouth School and Falmouth Community Football Club are proud of these boys and support their journey through their time as a Youth Referee.
