Newly launched! The Easter Time2Move Holiday Programme which aims to support families during the school holidays to ensure children have access to fun activities, healthy food and physcial activity and to address those particular challenges for some families because of increased costs such as food, childcare and reduced income.
It brings together providers across Cornwall who put on a wide range of diverse activities that are fully funded for those eligible for benefits related free school meals but available to all children aged 5 to 16.
Easter activities will run from April 3rd to the 7th and the 10th to the 14th and all children that attend will receive a healthy meal.
Children eligible for benefits related free school meals can access a unique code to access the provision free of charge. This can be accessed via a simple look up system and professionals can also refer children on to the programme to access it free by emailing Time2Move.HolidayProgramme@cornwall.gov.uk
To ensure the programme is as fully inclusive as possible we have partnered up with Parent Carers Cornwall (PCC) to support children with SEND needs. A representative will speak to parents directly about the needs of their child and a support worker will be assigned to look after the child when attending the selected provision.
