I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the Year 11 Virtual Parents’ Evening on Thursday 3 November 2022. This is an important evening and provides you with an opportunity to gain feedback about your son/daughter’s progress and achievements in their studies to date.

where you will find a Guide to the online booking system as well as information regarding how to attend your appointments via video call. Appointments will be open for booking from Monday 24 October 2022 at 9am and will close 24 hours prior to the event.
As on previous occasions, you will be able to choose your own appointment times with teachers. Once this has been done, you will receive an email confirming your appointments via video link. When you log in for the Parents’ Evening you should click ‘Join Video Appointments’ and you will be taken directly to your first appointment. You will then see the teacher in the main screen and you will appear in the bottom right hand corner. You will also see a blue bar across the top of the screen where your appointment time counts down.
Appointments with subject teachers are five minutes in duration. When there is one minute to go, this bar turns orange, then red. At the end of the allotted time, the appointment ends automatically and you will be taken directly to the next teacher, or to a waiting screen if there is a gap between appointments.
I would encourage your son/daughter to accompany you to the Virtual Parents’ Evening as this will enable them to fully understand how they are progressing and what they can do to achieve their full potential.
