Falmouth School Sixth Form 2022 A Level and Level 3 BTEC Results Press Release
Falmouth Sixth Form students can be justifiably proud of their hard work as they received an excellent set of grades for their A level and A level equivalent Level 3 BTEC results this morning. These results are the culmination of two years of studies for most students and the final stage of Falmouth Sixth Form study before embarking on the next stage of their careers. It has been clear that they have maintained their studies whilst in lockdown as they attained impressive results across the full range of courses. University places, employment and further training opportunities depend upon these results.
Christy Benney, Head of Falmouth Sixth Form said, “We are extremely proud of the fantastic results our amazing Year 13 students achieved today. The group of students collecting their A Level results did not have the opportunity to sit their GCSE exams due to the pandemic and therefore did not have the same exam- based experience Year 13 students would normally have to equip them. Students worked incredibly hard to ensure they were effectively prepared, demonstrating outstanding commitment. The bond the students have and the support they have shown each other over the last few years has been remarkable and we are extremely proud of them all. It was an absolute pleasure to witness their delight in opening their results today and I would like to wish every student the very best of luck as they move on to their next phase in their journey’’.
Simon Fewster, Deputy Head of Falmouth Sixth Form said, ‘We are so proud of our students and all they have accomplished in this early milestone. This is a major step in the journey of their lives and one that we will never forget. They have all worked so hard to get to this day and they have achieved so much these past few years. It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of this journey alongside the students and they will always be Falmouth to us.’

We are very proud of the achievements of all of our students. They have worked with resilience and determination throughout the last two years where they have experienced unprecedented disruption and we recognize the challenges that they have had to overcome along the way. We would like to thank our students for being such wonderful ambassadors for the school and to our families and members of staff who have supported them. We wish each of them every success for a fulfilling future.
