Sports Day

Sports day

On Wednesday 6th July 2022 we held our annual sports day for all students in year 7-10.

Students had the opportunity to move around our school site to compete in a range of different sports with 15 different sporting activities on offer.

Students went to Channel 4 field to compete in Softball and Rounders and challenged themselves in Cycling on our new bike track. Cricket, Volleyball and Alternative Athletics took place on 'Posers field', Netball, Table Tennis, Dodgeball, Basketball and Badminton took place in our indoor facilities and on the outdoor courts and finally students were able to compete in fitness challenges at the sports hub and Football, Handball and Capture the Flag on the astro and surrounding fields.

Our year 12 students helped to lead the different activities and support the younger students acting as fantastic role models and ambassadors for our school.

Students behaved fantastically throughout the day and displayed outstanding team work and support of one another, we were so unbelievably proud of students for the effort they applied throughout the day.

Every taking part in an activity earnt points for their houses; Trelawney, Melville, Smithwick and Boscawen. We are all very excited to find out which house won overall in our final assembly of the year on the last day of term.
