Lower School Falmouth students showcased their fantastic artwork at the recent Oyster Festival. The group of students have designed and created a range of fantastic sized dragon sculptures in art club this half term.
Students participated in the community arts parade in Falmouth town to celebrate the opening ceremony of the annual tradition. Alongside local primary schools our students danced, paraded and celebrated their art sculptures through the town beginning at the Moor and finishing at Events Square. The community turn out was excellent and the the atmosphere was highly positive with visitors and students enjoying the visual feast of art on display.
Head of art Mrs Lee-Smith said “It was a brilliant experience for our students who were represented the school superbly and showed the amazing creative talent we have at Falmouth School.”
