In 2020 the year 11 cohort did not sit external examinations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, instead students were award Teacher Assessed grades.  As a consequence of this no validated performance data analysis was released by the DFE and so consequently the DFE have not published any progress data for the 2020 national cohort.  The most recent validated data for all school across the England was the 2019 cohort. For our 2019 cohort the Falmouth School students, once again achieved results which show that the school is achieving in well above national averages.

The Progress 8 score measures how well students have improved in their attainment, and once again the school has performed well with a progress 8 score of 0.26 which is sustained significantly above the local and national averages.

Falmouth School once again performed well in the other key measure of the Attainment 8 score (48.2) which was above the local and national averages. This measures the grades students gained in all of their best 8 subjects across the whole curriculum.

These results follow a huge amount of work from students, their parents, carers and teachers. We are really proud of their achievements.

Over the last three years 96% of students remained in education or training.  Just over half join our successful Falmouth College and the remaining students pick up apprenticeships or training at Further Education Colleges.

These results follow a huge amount of work from students, their parents, carers and teachers. We are really proud of their achievements.
