At Falmouth School we aim to ensure that all our students are able to grow into happy, healthy and confident young people with the ability to fulfil their true potential in life.
Falmouth School is an academy with a board of trustees known as the Governing Body. We currently have 12 governors on our Governing Body who come from many different walks of life bringing their individual skills and experience to assist the school in achieving its aims and objectives. The role of our governors is to ensure the quality of educational provision and to challenge and monitor the standards and performance of the school.
Governors are accountable for the school’s budget and we need to be satisfied that the money Falmouth receives is put to the best use for all our students. We also employ all the staff in the school and we are responsible for overseeing the management of the property.
We are an inclusive school, focused on ensuring that all of our students make good progress and have the opportunity to pursue the subjects that interest them.
To this end we are keen to offer the broadest possible range of curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities within the resources available to us.
It is very important to us that students enjoy their time at school, that they are safe, happy, well supported and achieving their full potential at Falmouth.
